Magnetic Bookmark Ruler and Letter Opener

This is an awfully simple gadget to keep track of what page you were last reading in your favorite book (does anyone read real books anymore now that Amazon kindle is here?), measure the size of the book you are reading (laugh) and then open that pile of junk mail you have left over from yesterday!

But seriously, there is a lot to be said for combining three handy tools into one and then storing it on your fridge for safe keeping.

Now if they could make an Amazon kindle that can also be used as a letter opener, a ruler and is magnetic so you can store it on your fridge, then it would truly be the ultimate reading device!

Of course I am just being silly. But my point is that the more functions you can combine into one gadget, the more useful and valuable it will become over time. 

It just occurred to me while writing this post that this letter opener also looks like a knife!?

So maybe we could say this has a 4th use, as a defensive weapon if someone tries to steal your book.
