I am not sure what it is with me today and this minor obsession with retro gadgets. Maybe I am just going through a minor ‘anti tech’ phase or something like that. Do they have a vaccine for that?
Anyway this is a nice looking brass dial candlestick phone from the roaring 20’s. 1920 to be precise. It was made by Western Electric and according to the site I found it on is in excellent condition.
It is solid brass construction with molded black receiver wired to the original wooden ringer with solid brass bells.
This phone works with today’s modern phone systems as well. Can you imagine the look on the face of your high tech savvy teenage son or daughter when you pick this thing up and make a phone call ? Heck the look on their face would be priceless as they say.
Speaking of priceless, this phone will run you about $699.95 us dollars.
