The Best Sticky Notes Software for your Desktop

memento Memento is another software gadget I use that I wanted to be sure to tell you about. It is free just like the pc auto shut down gadget I told you about in the previous post.  This is basically a ‘post it note’ for your computer’s desktop.

Now I know there are already a million sticky notes software gadgets out there already.  And most operating systems comes with them installed already.  But to be honest I really do not like the one that comes with Window’s Vista.  It is lacking in flexibility.

So here comes Memento to the rescue.  The best thing about Memento is that it is extremely small in terms of size and also extremely easy to use. You can put color coded sticky notes anywhere on your desktop and they will all hide right at the bottom right of your computer screen in your windows task bar.  Just right click on the stick note title bar for options such as changing colors and deleting the note or making a new one.

A super simple software gadget but once again extremely useful and better than most others!

I want to tell you about a new little software gadget that I have had for about 2 weeks now.  Needless to say it is probably one of the most useful little software gadgets I have on my entire pc and it is so simple!

Isn’t it funny how sometimes the most useful gadgets are the ones  that are the most simple?!  Well it is true and this little one is no exception.

I think you already know by know what this little gadget does. It shuts down your computer automatically at a specified time you select!  All you have to do is download it to your desktop, extract it and then double click on the little red icon that you see in this post.  Then that little window will pop up to the right.  Then you select the time you want to shut down your computer and hit the ‘schedule shutdown’ button. And bingo! Your computer will shut down at that time.

Why is this useful?
